Zborovancik, Ida Marie (Zack), 95, Central City, Native of Windber, died March 9, 2024. Born September 10, 1928, in Windber, the daughter of Gregario and Maria (Finale) Zaccagnini. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank R. Zborovancik; brothers, John, Tony, and Jim Zack; and sisters: Jean Damasiewicz, Erma Mincek and Nancy Gaio. Ida is survived by her sons, Frank J. Zborovancik, Central City and Greg Zborovancik married to Kimberly (Keffer); Fayette City and her daughter Roni Sue wife of Keith Coughenour, Friedens; grandchildren: Kelsey fiancé Brad Buchner, Arlington, Va and Ty Zborovancik and Shelby Coughenour. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved watching them grow up. She was an avid baker who baked over 3,000 cookies for one wedding. Friends and family would request her famous gobs every time they visited. She made sure anyone who came to her home never left hungry. She was known as Mrs. Z to the multiple children she babysat through the years. She was the former owner of the Double Z Tavern in Hooversville and a member of Our Lady Queen of Angels Church, Central City. Friends and family received Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, and also on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
